view is displayed on the screen and
shows the distance from the vehicle
behind you while parking.

When Rear View Monitor is not working
properly, the screen is flickering, or the
camera image does not display nor

mally, have the function inspected by an
authorized Kia dealer.
Limitations of Rear View Monitor
When the vehicle is stopped for a long
time in winter or when the vehicle is
parked in an indoor parking lot, the
exhaust fumes may temporarily blur the
image.

tor. You must always use methods of
viewing the area behind you, includ

ing looking over both shoulders as
well as continuously checking all three
rear view mirrors, as there are blind
spots that may not appear on the
camera. while backing up and park

ing.

View Monitor. There may be a differ

ence between actual object distance
and visual object distance due to cor

rection of the image distortion. Always
pay attention to your surroundings for
safety.
