the wide-rear view camera or the rear
ultrasonic sensors components.
僅 Do not apply unnecessary force on
the wide-rear view camera or the rear
ultrasonic sensors. Reverse Parking
Collision-Avoidance Assist may not
operate properly if the wide-rear view
camera or the rear ultrasonic sen

sor(s) is forcibly moved out of proper
alignment. In this case, have your
vehicle inspected by an authorized
Kia dealer.

the vehicle is stopped to avoid colli

僅 If any other warning sound such as
the seat belt warning chime is already
generated, Reverse Parking Collision-
Avoidance Assist warning may not
sound.

Assist may not work properly if the
bumper has been damaged, replaced
or repaired.

Assist may turn off if interfered by
strong electromagnetic waves.
僅 Playing the vehicle audio system at
high volume may prevent passengers
from hearing Reverse Parking Colli

sion-Avoidance Assist warning
sounds.
Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance
Assist can detect a pedestrian or an
object when:
僅 A pedestrian is standing behind the
vehicle.
僅 A large obstacle, such as a vehicle, is
parked in the rear center of your vehi
