4.13 Self steering axle (option)
Aself-trackingaxleisthelastaxleofthetrailer,no3,which
can be mounted under certain conditions to favourably
inuencetheturningradiusofthetrailer.Thisisnotforced
steering. The settings of the conditions are programmed in
the modulator.
Thefollowingsettingisthedefaultsetting:
-Blockingselfsteeringaxle30kmperhourandwhen
reverse driving
-Afterreversedriving,theaxleremainsblockedupto10km
per hour
The pivot points (steering knuckles) of the self steering axle
must be lubricated according to the maintenance interval
speciedbytheaxlesupplier.
