4.14.1 Standard towing eye

4.14.2 Heavy-duty towing eye
Theheavy-dutytowingeyeislocatedbehindthelicenseplate,sothattowingisalwaysdonefromthecentre.This
means that forces are always well spread over the chassis. The towing eye can withstand a maximum pulling force
of 10 tonnes. The towing eye is easy and quick to install. A simple turning movement secures the towing eye in the
space behind the license plate.
