5.3 Unloading of bulk goods
5.3.1 Before unloading
Check the following points before unloading:
Apply the parking brake
Open the sheeting system (Roof sheet or PowerSheet
®
)
Set the desired height of the trailer using the height control (see 4.7).
Fold down the protection plate to protect the lights
Mechanically unlock rear doors
Deactivate pneumatic door locking device (see 6.1.6)
Turn the upper beam away and/or release the bars if desired (see 5.9)
5.3.2 During unloading
To prevent damage to the upper beam during unloading, take care to ensure that the load does not exert any
pressure on the upper beam.

Whenunloadingheavysolidproducts,theworkingspeed/motorspeed(PTO)mustbeadjustedsothatthehydraulic
system is not overloaded.
5.3.3 After unloading
Check the following points after unloading:
Placethemovingoorinrearpositiontoprotectthecylinderrods.
Hang the sheet on the movable bulk head.
Pushthemovablebulkheadbacktothefrontandpositionthesheetcorrectlyonthemovingoor(Ch5.2)
Cleanthewallsandmovingoorifnecessary
Clean retainer bracket and claw of the door locking device
Wipe door rubbers clean.
Close and mechanically lock the doors (Ch 5.1.8)
Lock the doors pneumatically (Ch 5.1.4)
Fold up and lock the protection plate to protect the lighting
Airsuspensionmustbeputinthe'drivingposition'byusingtheheightcontrol(Ch4.7)
Close the sheeting system (Ch 5.10)
Theemergencybuttonoftheoorcontrolmustbeswitchedonduringmanualoperation.(Ch5.8)
