9.40Checking rear brake fluid level
Warning
Danger of accidents Failure of brake system.
– If the brake fluid level falls below the MIN mark, there may be a leak in the brake system or the brake linings are completely
worn out. Have the brake system checked in an authorized KTM-RC8 workshop before continuing your journey.
Warning
Danger of accidents Reduced braking effect caused by old brake fluid.
– Have the brake fluid of the front and rear brakes changed according to the service plan in an authorized KTM-RC8 workshop.

– Stand the vehicle upright.
– Check the brake fluid level of the brake fluid reservoir.
» If the fluid level reaches the MIN mark :

Top up the rear brake fluid. x ( p. 134)
