– Clean and grease the thread of the wheel spindle and screw 2.
Long-life grease ( p. 179)
– Lift the front wheel into the fork, position it, and insert the wheel spindle. Mount and
tighten screw 2.
Guideline
Screw, front wheel spindle M24x1.5 45 Nm
(33.2 lbf ft)
– Position the brake caliper and check that the brake linings are seated correctly.
– Position spacers 3. Mount screws 4 but do not tighten.
– Operate the hand brake lever repeatedly until the brake linings are in contact with the
brake disc and there is a pressure point. Fix the hand brake lever in the activated posi-
tion.
The brake caliper straightens.
– Fully tighten screws 4.

– Remove the fixation of the hand brake lever.
