Engine failure Unfiltered intake air has a negative effect on the service life of the
engine.
– Never ride the vehicle without an air filter since dust and dirt can get into the
engine and result in increased wear.
– Remove air filter 3.

Main work
– Clean the air filter box.
– Mount air filter 1.

The air filter must lie flush against the air filter box along the entire sealing sur-
face A.
If the air filter is not correctly mounted, dust and dirt can enter the engine and
cause damage.
– Hook air filter box top 2 into the front of the air filter box and swing down.
