– Take the motorcycle off of the front wheel stand. ( p. 70)
– Pull the front wheel brake and push down hard on the fork several times to align the
fork legs.
– Tighten screws 5.

Finishing work
– Take the motorcycle off of the rear wheel stand. ( p. 69)

Preparatory work
– Raise the motorcycle with the rear wheel stand. ( p. 68)

– Press the brake caliper by hand on to the brake disc in order to press back the brake
piston.
– Remove nut 1. Remove chain adjuster 2.
– Holding the rear wheel, withdraw the wheel spindle 3.
