17.6 Installing the oil filter x

– Insert oil filters 1 and 2.
– Oil the O-rings of the oil filter covers. Mount oil filter covers 3 and 4.
– Mount and tighten the screws.
Guideline
Screw, oil filter cover M5 6 Nm (4.4 lbf ft)

Info
Too little engine oil or poor-quality engine oil results in premature wear to the engine.

Main work
– Remove filler plug with O-ring 1 from the clutch cover and add engine oil.
Engine oil 1.70 l (1.8 qt.) Engine oil (SAE 10W/60)

– Refit plug with O-ring 1 and tighten it.
