10.3.1 Belt tension
- Regularly check belt tension and in
particular during the first hours of use.
- Never replace belts individually.
- Replace belts in full sets.
Adjusting the tension:
- Tighten screw (1) using the 18mm box spanner
supplied with the machine.
- The spacer tube (2) must come into contact with
leg (3) and washer (4).
- During the initial assembly or when
installing a new set of belts, give screw (1)
2 additional turns to compensate for the
inital stretch of a new set of belts.
10.3.2 Checking cutterbar oil level
Regularly check the cutterbar oil level:
Before draining oil, operate the machine for a
few minutes so that the oil warms up.
