4 Supervisor mode. The parallel interface is waiting for the firmware data.
5 Receiving the firmware data.
6 The system DIMM or flash ROM is overwritten with the new firmware data.
7 Firmware downloading is finished. (When more than one data are down loaded, the data display
can be changed by pressing any key.)
8 Turn power switch off and on.
9 Check the that printer gets Ready.
Confirm that the status page shows the new engine firmware, system firmware or operator panel
message data version (See Appendix B on page B-4). If the message display indicates download
error, refer to section Downloading errors on page 3-23.
