Checking the operation of the solenoids
Description
Applies current to each solenoid in order to check its ON status.
Purpose
To check the operation of each solenoid.
Method
1. Press the start key. The screen for selecting an item is displayed.
2. Select the solenoid to be operated. The selected item is displayed in reverse.
3. Press the start key. The selected solenoid turns on for 1 s.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key at the screen for selecting an item.
The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Adjusting the print start timing
Description
Adjusts the leading edge registration or center line.
Purpose
Make the adjustment if there is a regular error between the leading edges of the copy image and original.
Make the adjustment if there is a regular error between the center lines of the copy image and original.
Method
1. Press the start key. The screen for selecting an item is displayed.
2. Select CASSETTE or BYPASS (MP tray) on the touch panel.
3. Select the item to be adjusted.
