142 IEEE 802.1X Authentication Setting
Setting PEAP
y The CA certificate must be installed in this equipment before performing settings for IEEE 802.1X authentication.
For instructions on how to install the certificate, refer to the COMMAND CENTER Guide.
y PEAP is not available for Windows Server 2008.

Select [PEAP] and press [Next].
The WIRED 802.1X SETTINGS (PEAP) screen is displayed.

Select [EAP-MSCHAPv2] for the inner authentication method and press [Next].
The WIRED 802.1X SETTINGS (EAP-MSCHAPv2) screen is displayed.

Specify the following items as required and press [Next].
[EAP-USER NAME] — Press this button to enter the EAP-User name.
[PASSWORD] — Press this button to enter the authentication password.
[RETYPE PASSWORD] — Press this button to re-enter the authentication password.
When you press the above buttons, the on-screen keyboard is displayed. Enter a value using the keyboard and
digital keys, and press [OK] to set the entry.
