as

Purpose
:
Format:
Tells
what
the
command
or
statement
is

sed
for.
Shows
the
correct
layout
for
the
command
or
stateme
nt.
You
will
be
able
to
follow
the
layout
if
you
keep
the
following
rules
in
mind:
I.
Words
given
in
capital
letter
s
must
be
input
exactly
as
shown
.
2.
You
must
enter
any
item
given
in
lower
case
italic
letter
s.
3.
Items
indicated
in
square
brackets
are
optional
[optional}.
4.
Items
followed
by
three
periods
.
mean
that
the
particular
item
may
be
repeated
as
of
ten
as
you
like.
5.
Quotation
marks,
commas,
full-stops,
hyphens,
semicolons,
and
equal
signs
must
be
used
as
indicated.
Comments:
Describes
the
circumstances
in
which
the
command
is
used.
Example:

program
