INPUT
Purpose:
BASIC COMMANDS AND
STATEMENTS
Allows
you
to
enter
values
from
the
keyboard
while
a
program
is
executing.
Format:
INPUT
["prompt";] variable I
[.
variable 2
..
]
Comments:
When
the
BASIC
interpreter
comes
across
an
INPUT
statement
it
displays
either
the
"prompt
string",
or
it
just
displays
a
question
mark
if
the
"prompt
string"
has
not
been
included
in
the
statement.
Only
one
prompt
string
is
allowed
and
it
must
appear
immediately
after
INPUT
.
