Step 1. Loosen the thumbscrew that secures the LOM adapter.
Step 2. Push the LOM adapter out of the connector on the system board.
Step 3. Slide the LOM adapter as shown and lift the LOM adapter off the server as shown.
If you are instructed to return the old LOM adapter, follow all packaging instructions and use any packaging
materials that are provided.

Before installing the LOM adapter, touch the static-protective package that contains the new LOM adapter to
any unpainted surface on the outside of the server. Then, take the new LOM adapter out of the package and
place it on a static-protective surface.
