UtilityandthroughtheDynamicSystemAnalysis(DSA)program(asIPMIeventlog).Thesystem-event
logislimitedinsize.Whenitisfull,newentrieswillnotoverwriteexistingentries;therefore,youmust
periodicallyclearthesystem-eventlogthroughtheSetupUtility.Whenyouaretroubleshootinganerror,
youmighthavetosaveandthenclearthesystem-eventlogtomakethemostrecenteventsavailablefor

ViewingeventlogsthroughSetupUtility
ToviewthePOSTeventlogorsystem-eventlogafterstartingtheserver,dothefollowing:
Step1.Turnontheserver.
Step2.Whentheprompt<F1>Setupisdisplayed,pressF1.Ifyouhavesetbothapower-onpassword
andanadministratorpassword,youmusttypetheadministratorpasswordtoviewtheeventlogs.
Step3.SelectSystemEventLoganddooneofthefollowing:
•ToviewthePOSTeventlog,selectPOSTEventViewer.
