6.Replacethefollowingcomponentsoneatatime,intheordershown,restarting

7.Ifyouinstalledanoptionaldevice,removeit,andrestarttheserver.Iftheserver
nowstarts,youmighthaveinstalledmoredevicesthanthetotaldevicesthat
powersupplycouldsupport.

1.DeterminewhetheryouareusinganAdvancedConfigurationandPower
Interface(ACPI)oranon-ACPIoperatingsystem.Ifyouareusinganon-ACPI
operatingsystem,dothefollowing:
a.PressCtrl+Alt+Delete.
b.Turnofftheserverbypressingthepower-controlbuttonforfiveseconds.
c.Restarttheserver.
d.IftheserverfailsthePOSTandthepower-controlbuttondoesnotwork,
disconnectthepowercordforfiveseconds;then,reconnectthepower
cordandrestarttheserver.
2.IftheproblemremainsorifyouareusinganACPI-awareoperatingsystem,
suspectthesystemboard.
Theserverunexpectedlyshuts
down,andtheLEDsonthe
operatorinformationpanelare
notlit.
