•ThemouseorUSBdevicedriversareinstalledcorrectly.

2.IfyouareusingaUSBmouseorUSBdeviceanditisconnectedtoaUSB
hub,disconnectthemouseorUSBdevicefromthehubandconnectitdirectly
totheserver.
3.ReplacethemouseorUSBdevice.
Memoryproblems
Note:EachtimeyouinstallorremoveaDIMM,youmustdisconnecttheserverfromthepowersource;
then,wait10secondsbeforerestartingtheserver.

1.Makesurethat:
•NoerrorLEDsarelitontheoperatorinformationpanel.
•NoDIMMerrorLEDsarelitonthesystemboard.
•Thememorymodulesareseatedcorrectly.
•Youhaveinstalledthecorrecttypeofmemory.
•Ifyouchangedthememory,youupdatedthememoryconfigurationinthe
SetupUtility.
•Allbanksofmemoryareenabled.Theservermighthaveautomatically
disabledamemorybankwhenitdetectedaproblem,oramemorybank
mighthavebeenmanuallydisabled.
•Thereisnomemorymismatchwhentheserverisattheminimummemory
configuration.
2.ReseattheDIMMs,andthenrestarttheserver.
3.CheckthePOSTerrorlog:
•IfaDIMMwasdisabledbyasystem-managementinterrupt(SMI),replace
theDIMM.
•IfaDIMMwasdisabledbytheuserorbythePOST,reseattheDIMM;then,
runtheSetupUtilityandenabletheDIMM.
4.CheckthatallDIMMsareinitializedintheSetupUtility;then,runmemory
diagnostics.See“RunningDSAPrebootdiagnosticprogram”onpage59.
