Recoveringtheserverfirmware(UEFIupdatefailure)
Important:Someclustersolutionsrequirespecificcodelevelsorcoordinatedcodeupdates.Ifthedevice
ispartofaclustersolution,verifythatthelatestlevelofcodeissupportedfortheclustersolutionbefore
youupdatethecode.
Iftheserverfirmwarehasbecomecorrupted,suchasfromapowerfailureduringanupdate,youcan
recovertheserverfirmwareinthefollowingways:
•In-bandmethod:Recoverserverfirmware,usingeitherthebootblockjumper(AutomatedBoot
Recovery)oraserverfirmwareupdatepackage.
•Out-of-bandmethod:UsetheIMM2Webinterfacetoupdatethefirmwareandthelatestserverfirmware
updatepackage.
