1 About this manual
This manual
applies to the i500 inverter series,
contains important technical information for the commissioning and operation of the i500,
explains the most important parameters and settings for the commissioning of standard applications.
1.1 Purpose of this manual
The purpose of this manual is to provide all necessary information for the installation, commissioning, start-up
and troubleshooting of i500 inverters. It is also intended as a planning aid and reference for drive configurations.
Reading and understanding this manual is therefore a basic requirement for all engineers and commissioning
technicians/electricians working with i500 inverters in their applications, machines and systems.
1.2 Storage place
The operation manual must be stored such that it can be easily accessed by all persons working on the inverter.
