Printhead assembly removal
1. Open the front cover. See “Front cover” on page 4-4 for more
information.
2. Remove the top cover. See “Top cover” on page 4-4 for more
information.
3. Remove the four top screws from the printhead mounting plate.
4. Remove the printhead plate ground strap screw above the
HVPS.
5. Remove the controller cage screw from the printhead mounting
plate.
6. Disconnect the printhead cables (first at the controller card for
E220/E321/E323 only).
7. Remove the three printhead screws (E320/E322 only).
8. Remove the printhead.
Transfer roll removal
1. Open the front cover and remove the toner cartridge. See
“Front cover” on page 4-4 for more information.
2. Release the transfer roll left and right bearing.
3. Remove the transfer roll.
