4.4.3 STEERING AXLE REMOVAL
- Remove the wheel mounting screws on both wheels.
- Jack up and securely block the rear of the truck.
- Remove the rear wheels.
- Support the steering axle (1).
- Remove the mounting screws (4).
- Remove the plate (3).
- Slowly lower the steering axle (1) with the axle block (2).
- Place an oil pan underneath.
- Disconnect the tubes on both sides of the steering cylinder.
