4.2.3 Calibrate current sensor
The calibration of the current sensor does not form part of the regular maintenance and checking work
on the SCPC System. Re-calibration is only normally possible in the following cases:
– After replacing the batteries
– If the battery current display is fluctuating strongly
Calibration work should only be performed at normal room temperature (20-25 °C). To perform the
current sensor calibration:
If you close the calibration process without confirming afterwards (Accept), the original value saved is
retained.
◗ Press the key symbol
i-Probe Calib. Mode
➜ The calibration process is started.
Wait for approx. 2-3 minutes, before
performing the next steps.
◗ Check the display
Battery Current (in the Actual Values field)
➜ If the current displayed here has
settled at a value of M ± 70 mA, it can
be assumed that the current sensor is
correctly calibrated.
◗ Press the key symbol Accept ➜ The value determined is then
transferred to the Stored Offset
display.
