REMOVAL
Mount the vehicle on a lift.
Remove the engine undertray.
Slide out the oxygen sensor connector to remove it
from its support (as shown by the arrow).
Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
Cut the exhaust pipe using tool (Mot. 1199-01)
between the two cutting points (1).

Mot. 1495 22 mm oxygen sensor
removal / refitting soc-
ket - 1/2" square drive
and a 24 mm Allen key
Tightening torquesm

IMPORTANT
Catalytic converters contain ceramic fibres; these
are contained within a closed unit, and cannot be
dispersed. Drilling or cutting catalytic converters
is prohibited.
