6.6 Site Acceptance
A Lonza approved FAS (field application specialist) should complete all IQOQPQ forms and
documentation

7 Transport, Storage and Packaging
Purpose of
this Chapter
This chapter instructs how to shut down the PyroTec™ PRO and how to pack it for storage
or transport.
Note: Unless otherwise specified this procedure will be performed by a contracted field
specialist.”
7.1 Transport
Lifting or moving the instrument can cause serious injuries.
• Injuries to the back due to overload can occur
• Injuries can be caused due to a falling instrument
• Always use the lifting handles when lifting the instrument
• Four trained relocation staff are needed to lift the instrument
• Depending on the type, the instrument weights up to 300 kg, check the weight before
lifting
• The center of gravity is located near the rear of the instrument. Be aware of the fact
that the load at the rear is heavier than the load at the front
• Do not lift the instrument at any other part than the lifting handles
WARNING
Lifting or moving the instrument can cause damage due to unsecured parts
• Always prepare the instrument for transport, before lifting or moving it
• Always use the lifting handle when lifting the instrument
• Do not lift the instrument at any other part than the lifting handles
• Damage of the instrument feet by shifting the instrument
• Always lift the instrument into position
