9 Preventive Maintenance and Repairs
Purpose of
This Chapter
This chapter gives instructions on all maintenance work to be performed in order to keep
the PyroTec™ PRO in good working condition. In addition to this, adjustment, and repair
jobs the operator can carry out by himself/herself are explained.
Principle
Only operate the PyroTec™ PRO when it is in good working condition. Strictly observe the
maintenance instructions as set out in this manual. To achieve specified performance and
reliability of the instrument, regularly carry out the maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Contact the local service organization with any problems or inquires.
9.1 Tools and Consumables
9.1.1 Cleaning Agents
WARNING
Working with cleaning agents may be hazardous.
Always observe the safety measures given by the manufacturer.
WARNING
Fire hazard
Do not use flammable liquids without supervision by the operator.
Take measures to prevent electrostatic discharge.
ATTENTION
Strong detergents can dissolve carrier and worktable surface coatings.
For cleaning the instrument, use alcohol or water as cleaning agents.
