OPERATION
PREPARING THE WINDROWER
1. Check the ti res and in flate if Inecessary .
Recommended pressure is 30 psi (207 kPa) .
CAUTION: When inflatin!:lt tires, use
a clip~n chuck and extension hose
long enough to allow yOIU to stand
to one side and not facinl9 the tire.
2. Check for proper
assembly and adjustment and
make sure all bo lts a re t ig htened sE~cu r ely .
3. Check the te nsion of the reel dr ive belt a nd th e
sickle dr
ive bel t. Ad j ust if requi red . See
Maintenance/S erv ice section.
4. Lubricate the machine completely and check
the oil l evel of the sickle driv e box . See
Maintenance/Serv ice section .
5. Check hydraulic oil level at dipsticl~ . Add o il if
requir
ed . See Maint enance/ServiCE~ secti on .
6. Install quick coupler tips (ma tching the tractor
to be used) on the remote hydraulic hoses.
