Change
hydraulic oil
every
600 hours
or
3 years.
To
drain the reservoir:
1. Loosen hydraul
ic
fitting and remove filler plug
as
described under "To
add
hydraulic
oil"

Disconnect
the
pump
supply hose (A)
from
the pu
mp
.
NOTE: A drain
pan
wi
th
a capacity of
130
litres
(35
U.S. gal[on
s)
will
be required.
Hydraulic Oil Filter
Change hydraulic oil filter (8) after the first 100
hours operation and every 250 hours thereafter.
To
change
:
1.
Clean around
Ihe
filter head.
2, Remove the
fi
lter
and
c
lean
the
gasket
surface
of the filter head.
3. Apply a thin
fi
lm
of
clean oil to the gasket on
the
new
filter.
4.
In
stall n
ew
filter. Tum
the
filter onto
the
mount until the gasket
co
ntacts
the
filter
head. Tighten Ihe filter
an
addit
io
nal 1/2 to
3/4 turn by hand.
IMPORTANT:
Do
not u
se
a filter wrench to
install the filter. Over-tighten
ing
can damage
gasket and fille
r.
Hydraulic
Relief Press
ur
e
A possible cause
of
poor cutting performance
and/or excessive heating
of
hydraulic oil is low
relief pressure. To check re
li
ef pressure, install
pressure gauge at tapped elbow (C). Pressure
should be 4000 psi (27.6 MPa) wi
th
tractor
engine at operating speed
an
d PTO engaged.
If
relief pressu
re
is low, replace
re
lief valve
cartridge (D).
ELECTRICAL
Use electrical tape and wire clips as required to
prevent wires from dragging or rubbing.
Keep
lights clean a
nd
replace burnt bulb
s.
To replace light bulbs:
1. Using a screwdriver, pry plastic lens (8) from
fixture.
2. Replace
bulb and plastic lens.
