Steering
the
wind
rower
is
con
tro
lled
by
the t
ractor
remote hydraulic system. This steering system
allows t
he
wi
nd
rower to
fo
ll
ow
directly
be
h
ind
the
t
ra
cto
r,
make
a
full
cut
to
either
side, or any
position in between.
NOTE:
To allow hitch
to
sw
ing
,
latch
reId
must
be
in field position
(0)

position
(Al, pivot rod retainer (C) up
to
allow moving r
od
from
(A)
to
(D).
NOTE:
H
oses
should
be
connec
ted
so
that
moving
tract
or
co
ntr
ol lever (E)

rward
steers
the

ch
ine
to the right and moving the lever back steers the
win
dro
wer
left
.
The control is
ope
rated momentarily
fm
steering
and
must
be
returned to
OFF
or NEUTRAL
position as soon
as
the windrower
reiaches
th
e
d
es
ired
path
of
trave
l.
The center pi
vot
provides the OPl3rator
th
e
opportunity
to
mov
e the wind rower into field
position easily, a llows right angle
turns
in either
direction, steering around objects on both sides
and straight line field cutting
on
either side
of
the
tractor.
NOTE:
Before s
te
ering the windrowe
r,
th
e header
should be raised enough that the skid

hoes clear
the ground.
