HEADER OPERATION
OPERATE CORRECTLY
A CAUTION:
1.
FOllow all safety and operatlonallnstruetlons
given In
your
Operator's Manuals.
If
you
do
not
have a
windrower
tractor
and/or
combine
manual,
gel
one
from
your
dealer
and
read It
thoroughly.
2. Never attempt
to
start
the
engine
or
operate
the machine except from the operator's seat.
3. Check
the
operation
of
all
controls
In a safe
clear area before starting
work.
4. Do
not
allow
riders
on
windroweror
combine.
5. Never
start
or
move
the
machine
until
you
are
sure
all
bystanders
have cleared the area.
DO NOT ALLOW
RIOERS
6.
Avoid travelling
over
loose fill, rocks,
ditches
or
holes.
7.
Drive slowly through gates and doorways.
8. When
working
on
Inclines, travel
uphlll
or
downhlll
when
possible. Be sure
to
keep
transmission
In gear when travelling downhill.
9. Never attempt
to
get
on
or
off
a
moving
ma~
chine.

10. Do
not
leave
the
operator's station
while
the
engine
Is
running.
11. Stop engine
and
remove key before adjusting
or
removing plugged material from
the
ma~
chine. A
child
or
even
a pet
could
engage the
drive.
12. Check
for
excessive
vibration
and unusual
noises. If there
Is
any
Indication
of
trOUble,
shut~down
and
Inspect
the
machine. Follow
proper
shut-down
procedure:
engage brake
disengage header
drive
turn
off
engine and remove key
walt
for
all movement
to
stop
dismount
and
engage
cylinder
stops
before
Inspecting raised machine.
13. Operate
only
In
daylight
or
good
artificial light.
