CHECK Fuel pre-filter

IMPORTANT

Wipe the outside of the prefilter as well as its support thoroughly to prevent dust from penetrating the system.
- Open the engine bonnet.
- Check for the presence of water in pre-filter tank 1 and drain if necessary.
- Place a container under drain plug 2 and unscrew it by two or three turns.
- Let the diesel drain free of pollutants and water.
- Tighten the drain plug 2 while the diesel fuel is running out.
LUBRICATE Boom pads*
Operation to be carried out every 10 hours during the first 50 hours of
service, then a last time after 250 hours.

In case of use in abrasive atmospheres (sand, dust, coal), use a protective paint (MANITOU
reference: 483536). For more information, contact your dealer. Completely extend the boom.
- Apply the grease with a brush (e LUBRICANTS AND FUEL) to the 4
sides of the telescopic booms.
- Extend and retract the boom several times to evenly distribute the
grease.
- Remove any excess grease.
* Every 10 hours during the first 50 hours, then a last time after 250 hours.
