These tests are necessary to check proper operation and adjustment of the various components of the device.

Perform a descent at full I.C. engine speed with hydraulic control
to the maximum. Slow down the descent until the movement
stops.

until stop
Continue to lower the telescopic boom with the I.C. engine
running at full revs and the hydraulic control at the maximum
setting. Lowering slows until movement is next stopped.
