CHECK Waterproofing of front wheel reducing gears
CHECK Waterproofing of rear wheel reducing gears
Place the lift truck on level ground with the I.C. engine stopped.
- Carry out a visual check of level plugs for any seepage or leaks.
- In the event of leaks or seepage, monitor the level:
• Place the level plug 1 horizontally.
• Remove the level plug: oil must reach the hole.
• If necessary, add oil (
e LUBRICANTS AND FUEL) using the same opening.
• Fit the level plug back on and tighten it (tightening torque: 34 to 49 Nm).
CHECK Brake oil level
Place the lift truck on level ground.

If the brake oil level is abnormal consult your dealer.
- Open the protective casing 1 with the ignition key.
- Check tank 2. The level is correct when it is situated at the MAX level on the tank.
- Visually check the tank and pipes for leaks.
- If necessary, add oil (e LUBRICANTS AND FUEL).
- Remove the plug 3.
- Add oil through filler port.
- Refit the cap.

CHECK Waterproofing on rear axle differential
Place the lift truck on level ground with the I.C. engine stopped.
- Carry out a visual check of filling, level and drain plugs for any seepage or leaks.
- In the event of leaks or seepage, monitor the level:
• Remove the level plug 1: oil must reach the hole.
• If necessary, add oil (
e LUBRICANTS AND FUEL) through the filler port 2.
• Fit the level plug 1 back on and tighten it (tightening torque: 34 to 49 Nm).
