Performance
The video timing parameters supported by the board are as follows:
Note that the length and quality of your cables can influence the reliability of
image acquisition. Longer or poor quality cables can increase the probability of
dropping packets. You can miss frames if packets are dropped. The MIL driver
for Matrox Solios GigE only implements a dropped-packet detection mechanism;
it does not have a recovery mechanism. If packets are dropped, you can either
receive an error (default) or the corrupted frame.
Supported video sources
Matrox Solios GigE supports simultaneous acquisition from up to four
independent frame, field, and line-scan video sources that transfer images in GigE
Vision format with the following pixel types. Matrox Solios GigE can convert
incoming images to the following formats.

1. The bandwidth numbers assume the raw transfer of data from the video source to the Host. If a conversion is performed, the
total available bandwidth might be reduced (since the theoretical maximum bandwidth of the Host interface is limited to
