7. Possible malfunction and causes

1 The batteries are not charged
and the operating table does not
operate on electricity.
Defective fuse in mains filter. Check and if necessary replace
the defective fuse.
2 The operating table cannot be
moved over the batteries.
Defective fuse. Check and if necessary replace
the defective fuse.
Batteries are completely
exhausted.
Replace the battery
Defective charge control. Check the charge control and
cabling.
3 Failure of all electrical functions. Defective control unit. Check the control unit and
wiring.
Defective on and off switch. Check the switch and wiring.
Defective power board. Check the power board and the
cabling.
Defective power input module. Check the power input module
and the cabling.
4 Operating table can be switched
on, but there is no function
possible.
Defective communication board. Check the communication board
and the cabling.
5 Manual switch without function. Defective manual switch or foil. Check the manual switch and
the wiring.
Defective manual switch input
socket.
Replace the manual switch
input socket and wiring and the
damaged components.
6 Column keyboard without
function.
Defective board or foil. Check the column keyboard and
the wiring.
7 Bottom switch not functioning. Defective printed circuit board or
button of the foil.
