Service manual for medifa 6000 mobile operating tables, version 2.0
5.6 Replacing the external charge control
It proves helpful to move the operating table to the
uppermost position of the lifting column to avoid short
circuits or hazards. Before starting disassembly, switch off
the operating table at the main switch and remove the
battery fuse from the base so that the operating table is
zero-voltage.
To replace the charge control, the lower column cladding
must first be removed or lifted ( see chapter Disassembly
of column cladding).
The charger is secured by a mounting bracket [1]. The
bracket is only secured with a screw [2]. Loosen the screw
[2] to remove the bracket.
Now disconnect the mains plug [3] from the charger.
Finally, disconnect the plug connection [4] to the
accumulators. To do this, lift the terminal [5] upwards
and then pull the connection apart.
The assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
HAZARD
Danger of electric shock!
Before starting to replace the charge control, you must ensure that the operating table is in a zero-voltage state, otherwise
there is a risk of electric shock.
