Figure 2-12 includes two views of the top cover. In addition to the Backlight
Inverter and Mag Stripe Reader assembly, the upper half shows the Samsung
LTM121SI-T01 LCD panel used in production units up to July-August 2004.
The lower half shows the replacement, a Sharp LQ121S1LG41. Note the
absence of the LVDS receiver board on the Sharp LCD; the equivalent
circuitry is built-into the panel.
