4. Press the key configured with Delete functionality.
A “DELETE to erase item or # to erase number” message is displayed on screen.
5. Press the key configured with Delete functionality again to delete the individual contact
from your Local Directory or press the # key to delete the individual phone number.
DELETE ALL ENTRIES IN THE LOCAL DIRECTORY
1. Press the programmed Directory key.
2. Use the 2 key to navigate to the Local Directory folder and press the key configured with
Delete functionality.
A “DELETE again to erase all items” message is displayed on screen.
3. Press the key configured with Delete functionality again to delete all contacts from your
Local Directory
SAVING ENTRIES TO THE LOCAL DIRECTORY
You can save entries (names and numbers) from other sources to your Directory using any of
the following methods:
• Saving from the Caller List
• Saving from the Redial List
• Saving from an external Directory Source (see “External Directory Source Features” on
page 132).
Saving from the Callers List
1. Press the key.
2. From the Callers List, scroll through the list to find the contact that you want to save to your
Directory.
3. Press the programmed Save key.
4. Press the programmed Directory key to save the contact you selected to the Directory.
Saving from the Redial List
1. Press the key.
2. From the Redial List, scroll through the list to find contact that you want to save to your
directory.
3. Press the programmed Save key.
