WHY DOES MY PHONE DISPLAY BAD ENCRYPTED CONFIG?
The IP phone displays Bad Encrypted Config because encrypted configuration files are
enabled but the decryption process has failed. Report this error to your System Administrator.
HOW DO I RESTART THE IP PHONE?
You can restart the phone from the IP phone UI or through the Mitel Web UI. See “Restarting
Your Phone on page 51 for more information.
HOW DO I LOCK MY PHONE?
You can lock your phone to prevent the phone from being used or configured. You can lock the
phone using any of the following:
In the IP phone UI at the path Options > Phone Lock. See “Phone Lock” on page 49 for
more information.
In the Mitel Web UI at the path Operations > Phone Lock. See “Phone Lock” on page 49
for more information.
At a configured Phone Lock key on the phone. For more information about configuring a
Lock/Unlock key on your phone, see “Phone Lock Key” on page 106.
