CHAPTER 8 SETTINGS
Introduction
This chapter describes settings available for configuring the ET1.
Location Settings
Use the Location & Security settings to set preferences for using and sharing location information. Touch
> Settings > Location & security.

Check Use wireless networks checkbox to use information from Wi-Fi networks to determine approximate
location.
GPS can be used in stand-alone or Assisted (A-GPS) modes. A Stone-alone GPS receiver downloads data
from GPS satellites. It can take several minutes to get a fix. By using GPS Location servers, A-PGPS
dramatically improves the performance of the Time To First Fix (TTFF) of GPS receivers by providing them with
NOTE Assisted GPS is only available of ET1N2 WAN configurations.
