3 Pull the connector outward.
Powering Up the Radio
Follow the procedure to power up your radio.
Rotate the On/Off/Volume Control Knob
clockwise until a click sounds.
The green LED lights up.
A tone sounds.
There is no tone upon powering up if the Tones/Alerts
function is disabled. See Turning Radio Tones/Alerts
On or Off on page 52 for more information.
Note:
Contact your dealer if your radio does not
power up.
Turn off the radio by rotating this knob
counterclockwise until a click sounds.
Adjusting the Volume
Follow the procedure to change the volume level of
your radio.
Do one of the following:
Turn the On/Off/Volume Control
Knobclockwise to increase the volume.
Turn the On/Off/Volume Control Knob
counterclockwise to decrease the volume.
Note:
Your radio can be programmed to have a
minimum volume offset where the volume
level cannot be lowered past the
programmed minimum volume. Check with
