Making a DMO Group Call without Gate-
way
1. Enter Direct Mode by pressing Optns and
selecting
Direct Mode.
2. Make sure that you have selected the re-
quired group. Press and hold the PTT button.
3. Wait for the talk permit tone and then speak into the mi-
crophone. Release the PTT button to listen.
Making a DMO Group Call via Gateway
While in DMO, proceed as follows to choose a
gateway to set up a call for the selected
talkgroup:
1. Press
Optns and select Gateway.
2. The display shows the last gateway type
selection. Scroll to your selection and
press
