IP Configuration
The IP Configuration section is used to configure the device’s basic IP configuration. Click IP
Configuration in the function tree.
General Settings
The General tab lets you configure the device’s basic network information. Click the General tab to access
this screen.
Configure the following settings.
IP Mode
DHCP
The AWK is assigned an IP address automatically by the
network’s DHCP server.
Static
Manually configure up the AWK’s IP address.
IP Address
Enter the AWK’s IP address.
Subnet mask
Subnet mask
Select the subnet mask. This is used to identify the type of
network the AWK is connected to (e.g., 255.255.0.0 for a
Class B network, or 255.255.255.0 for a Class C network).

Default Gateway
IP address
Enter the IP address of the router that connects the LAN to an
outside network.

DNS Server 1 and DNS Server 2
IP address
Enter the primary and secondary DNS server address. After
entering the DNS server’s IP
address, you can input the AWK’s
URL (e.g., http://ap11.abc.com) in your browser’s address
field instead of entering the IP address. The Secondary DNS
server will be used if the Primary DNS server fails to connect.
