Why does my Nabco Controller Sim Pair using “Stop & Close” results in a “Push & Go”?
    • G
      Gabriel RossSep 9, 2025
To resolve this, remove the sim-pair harness, set both controls to 'single door', and parallel the common terminal and any input being used between both controls.

    • D
      Daniel MorrowAug 23, 2025

Why is it hard to manually open my Nabco Opus Control door?
    • J
      Jake CombsAug 26, 2025
If you're finding it hard to manually open your Nabco Controller door, consider the following: * Check that the shoe position and rod length match the dimensions specified in the manual. * Reduce the preload on the operator. For GT8500 models, ensure the preload is at most one notch on the operator spline to comply with ANSI 156.19. * Re-enter '0' for 'hold closed force' under 'optional settings'. Even if the software indicates it's already set to '0', re-entering it can resolve the issue, especially on early Opus controls.

What to do if my Nabco Opus Control door does not always close during Latch Check?
    • Q
      qwoodsAug 27, 2025
If the door doesn't always close during the Latch Check, try increasing the latch check speed. Alternatively, increase the operator arm preload, or, if you have a GT710, increase the spring tension on the hydraulic closer.

If the Software Revision is up to (and including) 18, check that the “Manual Open Function” is set to “No Action” and the “Manual Open Sensitivity” is set to “0”. If “No Action” is desired, change “Manual Open Sensitivity” to anything other than “0”.

How to fix odd behavior of Sim Pair in Nabco Door Opening System?
    • T
      Thomas RileySep 18, 2025
Perform a “copy data” from one control to the other. After doing so, one control should indicate “Type 1” on the main screen, while the other should indicate “Type 2”. It doesn't matter which is which, but they must be different.
  • B
    Brooke KimSep 7, 2025
What does Nabco Controller error '61 Sensor' mean?
    • N
      Nathan StantonSep 7, 2025
The '61 Sensor' error on your Nabco Controller indicates a problem with the sensor. This could be due to incorrect sensor wiring, so check the wiring. It could also be due to incorrect settings on the sensor or control related to sensor monitoring, so verify those settings. If neither of those resolves the issue, the sensor may have failed, so try replacing it with a new one.

      William TurnerSep 4, 2025
If the door stays open after manually opening it, the 'Manual Open Function' might be set to 'No Action' and the 'Manual Open Sensitivity' to '0'. If you want 'No Action', change 'Manual Open Sensitivity' to any value other than '0'.
