recommendedbyNavistar.causedamagetotheengineor
vehicle,thewarrantyisinvalidandmaintenanceandrepair
costswillnotbecovered.
EMERGENCYREPAIRS
Emergencyrepairsarerecognizedifpartsarenotavailable
within30daysorrepairsarenotcompletedwithin30days.
Ifanauthorizedserviceproviderisnotreasonablyavailable,
thevehicleowneroranyserviceestablishmentmayinstallany
replacementpart.
Navistar,Inc.willreimburseyouforemergencyrepairs
(includingdiagnostics)forthefollowing:
•Replacementpartsthatdonotexceedmanufacturer's
suggestedretailprice
•Laborchargesbasedonmanufacturer'srecommendedtime
allowanceandgeographichourlyrate
Replacedpartsandpaidinvoicesmustbegiventoyourdealer
forreimbursementofemergencyrepairs

•Aftermarketpartsorservicekits
•Nondefectivepartsreplacedbyanunauthorizedservice

•Partsrequiringreplacementatinspectionoradjustment
maintenanceintervalsforreasonsotherthanbeingdefective
•Replacementofexpendableitemsmadeinconnectionwith
scheduledmaintenance
Vehicle,engine,andpartmalfunctionscausedbythe
following:
•Useofincorrectfuel,engineoil,orcoolant
•Failuretomaintaincorrectmaintenanceschedule
•Incorrectadjustments,modications,alterations,tampering
ordisconnectionofvehiclecomponents
•Abuseormisuseofengine
