Iftheyellowrestrictionindicatorisatorneartheredzone,
therestrictionishighandanewairltershouldbeinstalledto
preventreducedfueleconomy,lowenginepower,orengine
damage.
Pushresetbuttonandobservethemovementoftheair
restrictionindicatortomakesureitisnotlockedup.Iftheair
lterwasnotchanged,theyellowindicatorwillreturntothe
samereadingwhenthevehicleisdrivenundernormaldriving
conditions.
1.Removepluggedairlterelementanddiscard.
CAUTION:Topreventenginedamage,donotusecompressed
airtocleanlterhousing.
2.Useacleanwater-dampenedclothtocleaninsideofairlter
housing.
3.Inspectairlterhousingfordamageordistortion.Installnew
housing,ifnecessary.
4.Verifynothinghasfallenintothelterhousingpriorto
installinganewlterelement.
5.Installanewairlterelement.
6.Pushresetbuttononairrestrictionindicator.Theyellow
indicatorwillreturntozero.
