factoryllforthecoolingsystem.Ifacustomerwishestouse
adifferentcoolant,itshouldminimallymeetASTMD6210,
StandardSpecicationforfully-FormulatedGlycolBase
EngineCoolantforHeavyDutyEngines.ELCPremix50/50is
usedtoreplenishcoolantlossandensurethatglycol/water
concentrationsstayinbalance.
WARNING:Topreventpersonalinjuryordeath,dothe
followingwhenremovingtheradiatorcaporcoolanttank
cap:
Allowtheenginetocoolfor15minutesormore.
Wrapathickclotharoundtheradiatorcaporcoolanttank
cap.
Loosencapslowlyaquartertohalfturntoventpressure.
Pauseforamomentuntilallpressurehasescapedtoavoid
beingscaldedbysteam.
Continuetoturncapcounterclockwisetoremove.
1.Checkcoolantlevelinthecoolanttank.
CoolantlevelshouldbeatmidpointofADDandMAX.
IfcoolantlevelisbelowtheADDmark,continuewith
step2.
2.RemovecoolanttankcapandaddELCPremix50/50until
theuidlevelreachesthemidpointbetweenADDandMAX.
3.Installandtightenthecoolanttankcapuntiltheplasticcap
clicksorthemetalcaprunsupagainstthedetent.
