When installing the felts, the manual torch should not be connected to the device.
For some types of inserts, the felt is xed using a PTFE ring.
In these cases, the felt insertion tool built into the manual
torch support base is used for installation.
• Install the insert on the manual torch (see chapter 7.2).
• Insert the PTFE ring (C) into the special oval slot of the
felt insertion tool (A). To do this, apply a light pressure with
your ngers to the two opposite sides of the ring so that it
takes on an elliptical shape, then position it in place.
• Place the felt (D) in the rectangular groove of the felt
insertion tool (B).
• Take the manual torch and push the tip on the felt insertion
tool so that the felt and the ring slide onto the electrode.
